Founded 1824, the oldest working Talavera workshop in Puebla. Guided factory tours show clay levigation, glazing and the cobalt hand-painting; the shop sells DO4-certified tiles, tibores and plates. Open Mon-Sat 10:00-19:00, Sun 11:00-17:00.

Around 40 open-front painters' studios in the old cotton-spinners' plaza, selling canvases, prints and small sculpture straight from the easel. Studios open roughly 11:00-19:00 Tue-Sun; live music in the plaza on weekends.
Independent bookshop in an 18th-century mansion with a courtyard café, strong on Mexican poetry, art and Puebla history, plus Spanish-language design titles and stationery. Open daily 09:00-23:00.
The Juárez corridor west of the centre concentrates Mexican designer boutiques, concept stores and jewellers between 13 and 27 Sur — leather, resortwear and contemporary silver. Most open 11:00-20:00 Mon-Sat.
Puebla's flagship mall in the Angelópolis district: Liverpool and Palacio de Hierro anchors, Zara, Sears, a cinema and a Mexican-design cluster on the upper level. Open daily 11:00-21:00, Fri-Sat to 22:00.
A block of permanent antique dealers around Plazuela de los Sapos selling colonial furniture, santos, apothecary glass, vinyl and 19th-century Talavera. Shops 11:00-19:00; the open-air tianguis fills the plaza Saturday and Sunday 09:00-17:00.
Contemporary Talavera atelier 20 minutes west of the centre, certified DO4, known for collaborations with Mexican artists and museum commissions. Workshop visits and shop Mon-Fri 09:00-18:00, Sat 10:00-15:00.
Village 30 km southeast where family talleres cut translucent Tecali onyx into lamps, chess sets, bowls and bookends, sold at kiln-side prices along the main road and around the plaza. Most open 09:00-18:00 daily.
A one-room cantina open since 1916 selling its raisin liqueur in bottles to take home, surrounded by evening stalls with rebozos, copal, hand-tooled belts and mezcal from Puebla's Sierra Negra.
