What we collect
ThreeDayGuides.com does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the site. The only personal data we may process is:
- Contact form submissions — your name, email address and message, used solely to reply to your inquiry.
- Analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, country, device type). This data is anonymised and aggregated. No personally identifiable information is shared.
Cookies
We use the following cookies:
- Google Analytics — first-party cookies (_ga, _gid) for traffic analytics. You can opt out via Google Analytics opt-out.
- Affiliate links — when you click a Booking.com or GetYourGuide link, those third parties may set their own cookies to track bookings. See their privacy policies for details.
Third-party services
- Booking.com — hotel search and booking. When you click our Booking.com links, we earn a small affiliate commission. Booking.com privacy policy.
- GetYourGuide — activity and tour bookings. Same affiliate arrangement as above. GetYourGuide privacy policy.
- Unsplash — photography. Photos are served directly from Unsplash servers.
- OpenStreetMap / Leaflet — map tiles for route maps on city pages.
Data retention
Contact form emails are retained in our inbox for up to 12 months. Analytics data is retained for 14 months in Google Analytics.
