Brasília is built for walking alone: superquadras with shaded pilotis, a lake ringed with west-facing bars, and a boteco culture where a table for one raises no eyebrows. This 3-day route links safe Asa Sul blocks, samba circles and cerrado trails.
Latin America's largest urban park at 4.2 km²: 12 km of paved loops, free outdoor gyms and rental bikes. Solo runners fold into the informal 07:00–10:00 packs; kiosk coconut water runs R$6. Open 24h, patrolled and busy all morning.

Lúcio Costa's prototype residential block: apartment slabs raised on pilotis, a school, a bakery, and Niemeyer's 1958 Igrejinha with Athos Bulcão's blue-and-white azulejo panels. Church open 08:00–18:00, streets calm and fully walkable alone.
The lakefront boardwalk where Brasília drinks at golden hour: around 20 bars facing west over Lago Paranoá, most with single-seat counters instead of table minimums. Free to enter, caipirinha about R$28, open until 01:00 on weekends.
The craft fair sprawling below the 224 m TV Tower every Thursday to Sunday, 09:00–18:00: roughly 500 stalls of cerrado seed jewellery, pequi liqueur and Northeastern food. Vendors talk freely; tapioca with queijo coalho is R$15–20.
A tiled boteco modelled on Rio's old cafés, with marble tables, waiters in white jackets and a bar rail built for solo elbows. Picanha na chapa and cold chopp pull a mixed lunch crowd of civil servants and architecture students.
The 508 Sul culture house named after the Legião Urbana frontman: free galleries, a theatre, and capoeira, dance and photography workshops that accept drop-ins. The courtyard café is where Brasília's arts crowd lingers. Tue–Sun 09:00–21:00.
Samba institution tucked into a 1960s office block downtown. The Friday roda de samba starts around 18:00 and mixes lawyers, students and musicians who pull strangers into the circle. Cover R$20–30, chopp R$10, standing room only after 20:00.
Cerrado national park 10 km from the Plano Piloto: two spring-fed pools holding around 26 °C, the 5 km Cristal Água trail through savanna, and maned wolves that appear near dusk. Open 08:00–16:00 daily, sign in at the Centro de Visitantes.
Carlos Alberto Naves' 1970 concrete cube pierced by 7,400 Murano glass panes in twelve shades of blue, so the interior glows like standing underwater. A 3.5 tonne Murano chandelier hangs above rows of usually empty pews. Free, 07:00–19:00.
Niemeyer's 1981 mausoleum for Juscelino Kubitschek, the president who built this city in 41 months: his tomb beneath a stained-glass ceiling by Marianne Peretti, his 1973 Ford Galaxie, and Lúcio Costa's original competition drawings.
A small white marble chapel on a headland across Lago Paranoá, marking where Dom Bosco dreamed in 1883 of a city between the 15th and 20th parallels. The finest solo sunset in Brasília, with the whole Plano Piloto skyline mirrored in the lake.
