Sun Moon is a Bulgarian wholegrain bakery-canteen chain where a bowl of bean soup (bob chorba) runs about 5-6 lv and fresh sourdough loaves 4 lv. Portions are canteen-sized and the counter menu changes daily by what the kitchen cooked that morning.
The 1911 neo-Renaissance hall opposite Banya Bashi Mosque houses a basement food court where shopska salad, grilled kebapche and rice dishes cost 6-9 lv. Roman fortress wall remains sit exposed in the lower level, free to view while you eat.
