Hostels pool solo travellers into shared vans leaving around 09:00 for the 60km run east into granite valleys and ger camps. Shared day trip ₮90,000–130,000 including driver, park fee ₮3,000, horse riding ₮25,000 per hour.
A 24m granite outcrop shaped like a turtle, with a scramble route up the back for a valley panorama. Free to climb, food stalls and camel rides at the base for ₮15,000, and enough passing travellers that photo swaps happen naturally.
A hillside temple reached by a 108-step staircase and a suspension bridge, built in the shape of an elephant. Entry ₮5,000, open 09:00–18:00 in summer. Prayer-wheel corridors and empty benches make it the calmest solo hour of the trip.
