Taxi from Delhi: 4–5 hrs via Yamuna Expressway (₹3,500–4,500). No direct international flights to Agra — fly into Delhi (DEL).
Tipping	10% at tourist restaurants. Dhaba stalls: no tip expected. Hotel staff: ₹100–200/night. Tuk-tuk driver who waits: ₹50–100 for the wait. Tour guides: ₹200–500 for a half-day. The monument guides licensed by Archaeological Survey of India charge fixed rates (₹1,000 for 2 hrs at the Taj).
Safety	Agra is safe for tourists in the main areas. The most common problem: aggressive touts and false guides near the Taj gates offering "free" tours that end in shops.
